Carbon Steel

Carbon steel is a widely used material known for its excellent strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness. It contains varying amounts of carbon, which enhances its hardness and wear resistance while maintaining good weldability and machinability. Carbon steel is classified into three main categories: low-carbon steel (mild steel), medium-carbon steel, and high-carbon steel, each offering unique mechanical properties suited for different applications. Carbon steel is extensively used in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, construction, power generation, and automotive due to its high tensile strength and ability to withstand extreme conditions.
